IN MY LIFE VOTED FAVORITE BEATLES SONG
The results of our first comprehensive survey in eight years to find out fans FAVORITE BEATLES ALBUMS AND SONGS are now in and revealed here and on our facebook page. Nearly 4,000 Beatles fans let us know their favorites.
The Top Two Albums were far ahead of #3, and #3,4, & 5 were well ahead of the rest of them. Every Beatles Album that was ever made into a CD plus ALL of the early U.S. albums and almost every post 1970 Album received votes. If ALL OF THEM counted as a vote, it would have been at #7!!

The Top Beatles Songs were a little more predictable. Looking over the Top 25, there are three George songs in the Top 7. Paul (primary writer) has 4 in the Top 10 and 7 in the Top 25, while John (primary writer) has 2 in the Top 10, but 13 in the Top 25. An astonishing 193 songs were voted for. That is over 90% of their total number of songs. Many of you had trouble picking just one out. As with the albums, if ALL OF THEM counted, it would have been #13. The Top 25 songs come from 11 different albums.

Strongly disagree with in my life being the best one, its a great song (like all the beatles songs) but not greater then hey jude, a day in the life ect
I totally agree!!! Both of my daughters have weddings this summer and they will be walking down the aisle to “All You Need Is Love!” Great choice!!
The survey was based on fans voting. Many radio stations that have Beatles shows tell us In My Life is their most requested song.
i AGREE WITH IN MY LIFE, BUT NOT WITH THE WHITE ALBUM BEING IN 2ND PLACE. SGT. PEPPER SHOULD HAVE BEATEN IT AND ABBEY ROAD.
For me, it’s Revolver for best LP and Revolution (flip side of Hey Jude single) for best song….oh, that distorted guitar! The Beatles showed they could rock as well as anyone!!

Not only do I consider “In My Life” the best Beatles song, I also consider it the best song ever written!
Great survey results Mark & Fest people. Can’t wait for Chitown fest and would love to see a similar survey of the solo Beatles top 15 albums and top 25 songs! We now have over 40 years of solo Beatles to choose from!
I was planning just that for the next survey.
After being disbanded for 41 years it shows that they are & will remain THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH. I have never been able to choose a favorite song or album, some are better than others but they are all #1. Thanks to Mark, Carol & the Lapidos family for keeping that wonderful Magical Mystery Tour alive for us who were there & for introducing the following generations to the amazing journey that John, Paul, George & Ringo provided. And never forget that ‘All You Need Is Love’.
