  1. It looks great i’m a guitar/music teacher and I hope this will
turn more young people into beatles fans. I can’t do it all by myself!

  2. Looks like the best Beatles movie so far, but I have to say the boy playing Paul doesn’t look like him at all…. can’t wait to see it though!

  3. I am definitely there! I may have been born 30 years late for Beatlemania but I can’t wait to see this! It looks good 🙂 I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Beatles and John is my favorite ^_^

  4. I love the Beatles so much. I usually don’t like other people plaing them because they do them no justice, which is why I dont listen to Beatle Tribute bands. But I have to say, this guy looks like an awesome John Lennon. And they picked the perfect actor for Paul with that face look. This movie has totally has my vote.

  5. been a Beatles fan since i was old enough to hear, born in 64,have everything that has to do with The Beatles.cant wait to se the movie in Canada.

  6. Looks very good, but the actors who played Lennon in the Dick Clark Beatles TV film and the other TV film from a few years back, looked and acted a lot more like Lennon – this actor is too perfect-looking. John was more rough and macho when he was young then this guy portrays. Lennon’s personality was also very edgy, and this actor seems to be “safe”. Still I am definitely gonna see this film. If it promotes the story of The Beatles’ amazing early years to a new generation of young people, it’s definitely a good thing!

  7. Oh yes… Oct 8th – I’ll be in seat to watch this movie again and again. We know the story but the movie looks like it’s got attitude – uh huh, John’s attitude. I can’t wait! Been a Lennon fan since We first knew of the Beatles in the USA. He was always the beast!

  8. This movie just might make me change me mind about Johnny. I hope it does. He always impressed me as a rebel without a cause. Whereas Paul had real class, dignity, values and talents. John sought/needed Paul & was a lucky man when he found him. John found the Beatles; Paul made the Beatles.

  9. I have been a Beatle fan since the age of 11. I am now 57. I will see the movie, but I was dissapointed in the actors. I didn’t think the guy looked anything like John did back in the day. And the actor has blue eyes, and John’s were brown.

  10. Can’t wait to see it. John, one of the biggest beatle fans – hope you are doing great!

  11. I love John Lennon! I cannot wait to see this movie. I’m sure I’ll see it again and again!

  12. I’ve been waiting for this release since my friends in Liverpool first told me about it. I’ve searched all over the internet and have become as Ringo would say FrustrAted. I can’t believe it’s taken this long to get it released in the United States, but what great news. Lennon forever. The release I anticipate will be on 10/09 Right?

  13. I guess this movie is already released in the UK and New Zealand. On May 25th I saw it while traveling to England on Air New Zealand. It was totally awesome. What a great way to start off my trip to England where I did go to Liverpool and toured both John and Paul’s childhood homes.

  14. I’m 55 years old and the Beatles have been a constant part of my life, my kids life and my grandson’s life. My heart aches for John and George. I focus on anything to do with Ringo and Paul. This movie actually looks good, which is amazing to me because I’ve never been able to enjoy anything by the real deal. “Thank you for this!” Looking forward to it.

  16. Looking Forward to seeing this film. John was on the money with so many issues & talent. He made some mistakes throughout his life; (so haven’t we all…) But there’s one statement he made that was So So So wrong…….
” I don’t know what the fuss is all about ” It’s only a rock band that split up…Nothing Important”.
John was in the Eye of a hurricane. When you’re in the ” Eye ” you are not aware there even is a Hurricane.

  17. Looking forwatd to this. It appears they may have finally made a movie that will be “real”…not easy to do with such strong subjects! There is and will only be one group that has inspired so much music far beyond what they produced together and seperately……The BeaTles ! 4 ever!!

  18. im the biggest beatle fan. i am dying to see this. but i would have used actors from liverpool. anyway i think that im exactly like john lennon. i have his way of thinking and his personality

  19. I am a Beatle fanatic so of course I will see the movie. The actor playing John looks really good but the one playing Paul doesn’t look even slightly like him. I think it makes for a better movie if the actors actually resemble who they are portraying.

  20. I am very happy about this movie.like someone said earlier, it will be a wonderful way to show the second generation of Beatle fans how it all began. I just hope they get all the facts right. One of my biggest pet peeves is movies, the media, magazine articles etc. getting Beatle facts wrong. I won’t know though because I will not be able to watch it.I have been “with” them since 1964. And I guess it’s hard to explain, but it would hurt too much for me to see it. But I know if it is done right, all of you will love it ! And, it is not about how they look. It is the story that really matters.

  21. “The thing the sixties did was to show us the possibilities and the responsibility that we all had. It wasn’t the answer. It just gave us a glimpse of the possibility.” John Lennon

  22. i am the original Beatles Freak and this film looks like it will be awesom….RIP John Lennon and George Harrison…You might no longer be here with us but you will NEVER be forgotten and I know YOU two are rockin heavens doors!!!!!!

  23. My 14 yo daughter, avid Beatles fan, said “Across the Universe” was the best movie she will ever see. I wonder what she’ll say about this one..the trailer is great. Can’t wait to see the movie…

  24. Imagine – what would the world be like without the Beatles? Can’t wait to see the movie, this certainly will get more of the second generation interested in how hard all the pioneer musicians worked to get their music created and listened to. John was certainly a genius and someone who worked hard to make his dreams a reality. Most of us just dream – John has always been my idol as well as Paul, George and Ringo. WE can do what we want if we want it bad enough

  25. Yeah yeah yeah I’ll see the movie more than once. I’m currently reading JOHN LENNON the life by Philip Norman and it’s a great read, also THE CYNICAL IDEALIST a spiritual biography of John Lennon by Gary Tillery was very incitefull. I will ‘spread the word’ on my weekly radio Beatle show on WWW WRLR.FM on Mondays from 3:00 to 4:00 central time. it’s a public radio not for profit radio station. I share Beatle songs and inform the public of upcoming Beatle news. The Beatles changed the world and I’m glad to be part of spreading the ‘Peace and love’.

  26. I thought Backbeat was a pretty good film on the Beatles before fame. This one looks pretty good too. I can’t wait to see it.

  27. I wish it wasn’t rated R 🙁 Us young beatle people will need an adult to get in now! haha oh well! I will find a way to see it!

  28. I will be watching and I like to say I know a lot of young folks that love the Beatles. Long live the Beatles in our hearts.

  29. Why is it rated R im soooooo mad wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh 🙁 im the biggest beatle fan ever!!!!!!!

  30. First picked up a guitar in 65. First song learned, “This Boy”.
Have been a Beatles fanatic ever since and so my kids as well.
Love whatever brings they’re music and message further down the generations. I will be there for “Nowhere Boy”. Hope John is smiling.

  31. This look’s like a true movie of the hart!I love the movie line about john’s life as a boy…John was a rare gem!rock stars only wish thay can only be half of!Thank’s for this classic……
