And so this is New Year\u2019s\u2026and what have I done?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Well, let me tell you. It\u2019s only seven days into the New Year, and already I\u2019ve broken three<\/strong>\u00a0of my five\u00a0<\/strong>brand new resolutions! I haven\u2019t worked daily on my next Lennon book. I haven\u2019t spent daily time in prayer. And I\u2019ve lost my temper (yes, already!) with a goodly number of various and sundry people. In only seven days.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I\u2019m willing to take the blame here, but\u2026maybe (just maybe) I\u2019m failing miserably because the resolutions I\u2019ve created are pledges that I just can\u2019t keep. Maybe I\u2019d do better if I turned to The Beatles for some hints on how to live in 2016.<\/p>\n

Hmmm, I wonder what resolutions the lads would have to offer?<\/p>\n

  5. 5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>Lead a better life.<\/em><\/li>\n
  6. 6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>Get back to where you once belonged. <\/em><\/li>\n
  7. 7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>Sing in the dead of night.<\/em><\/li>\n
  8. 8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>Get up and dance to a song.<\/em><\/li>\n
  9. 9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>See the world spinnin\u2019 round.<\/em><\/li>\n
  10. 10. <\/em>\u00a0Love forever and forever. Love with all your heart. Love when you\u2019re together. Love when you\u2019re apart.<\/em><\/li>\n
  11. 11. <\/em>\u00a0Try not to sing out of key.<\/em><\/li>\n
