Billy Preston<\/strong><\/span> was the only musician, aside from Tony Sheridan, to be credited on a Beatles recording.\u00a0 Preston played electric piano on “Get Back,” and was a regular presence while the Beatles were recording the album that would become Let It Be.\u00a0 Preston contributed to two Beatles recordings on Abbey Road as well – “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)” and “Something.”\u00a0 Preston was also an accomplished solo artist, scoring hits with songs such as “Nothing from Nothing.”\u00a0 Aside from his work with The Beatles and his solo accomplishments, Preston co-wrote “You Are So Beautiful” with Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys.\u00a0 The song would become a hit for Joe Cocker.<\/em>
