The recordings George was working on 2 months before his death in November 2001 and 15 years after his last album, Cloud Nine (1987) . It features 11 original tracks and one cover. Jeff Lynne and George's son, Dhani, finished the production according to George's wishes. Stuck Inside a Cloud is the first single, as well as Valentine (about the power of love), Pisces Fish(a partially autobiographical rock hymn about the eternal river flowing near George's home), Love's Got a Hold On Me, and Doing the Bonzo Dog. The Brainwashed song is described as a song directed at his former manager, a blistering anthem about social delusions in a world running down with the lyrics alternating between scathing and witty.
