Ringo and his All Starr Band played at Radio City Music Hall last night and the concert was super, the band was hot, background vocals outstanding. It was virtually the same as any other night on his 2010 Tour. BUT IT WASN’T THE SAME AT ALL. This was Ringo’s 70th birthday and the sold out show was filled with luminaries and celebs in the Beatles world. The first hint at something special happening came during Photograph, when our friend Mark Rivera (who is listed in the program as the Musical Director) came out with his Sax and he and Edgar Winter shared the solo in the song. It was the start of unforgettable moments. The finale of With A Little Help From My Friends/ Give Peace a Chance saw dozens of musicians join Ringo in stage as backup singers. We cannot give you a full list of who was up there but Yoko, Peter Asher, Jeff Lynne, Joe Walsh, Little Steven, Nils Lofgren, Jim Keltner, Max Weinberg, Greg Lake, Gary Brooker, Richard Marx, Billy Squier, Gary Burr, Colin Hay, Keith Allison were singing the extended finale. Then a huge cake was wheeled out in the shape of Ringo’s drum set and the entire audience sang Happy Birthday along with some of his grandchildren who came on stage with the cake. He said goodnight and left the stage, but I noticed the tech guys moving some gear on stage and then it appeared, under a dim light – it was THAT HOFNER BASS. At that moment the fans knew what was happening. It was a total surprise for Ringo, as the All Starrs came back on stage and then PAUL jogged out to center stage and ripped into Birthday. I can’t remember hearing such a loud ovation, more like a roar when Paul appeared. Ringo ran on stage and headed for his Drums. It was an unforgettable version with Paul turning around a number of times to glance at his former band mate. After the song, Ringo bopped over to Paul and they gave each other a warm and long embrace. They each said I Love You and there wasn’t a dry eye around. We will blog the full list when we can all figure it out. Olivia was also spotted in the audience but did not join in the finale.
To the Greatest – Peace and Love Ringo!

Awesome show!
The cake was organice carrot cake (Ringo’s favorite) and made by a small boutique bakery in NYC called Ruthy’s located in the Chelsea Market. Apparently they do a bunch of celebrity cakes. I have a picture taken from side stage at the show last night. It was amazing!!
I’m still walking on air this morning. My brother always plays and sings “Birthday” at family birthday parties, and to hear it sung live on stage by Paul was a moment I will never forget.
WHAT A NIGHT!
We were lucky enough to be there to experience true BEATLEMANIA!!!
This would fulfill my lifelong dream…..all I want to do is see and hear Sir Paul live. What a moment this had to be for everyone. Lucky audience, wonderful birthday for Ringo. Happy Birthday, young man!!
I would have LOVED to have been there to witness that surprise. Happy Birthday Ringo!
Happy Birtday Ringo! What a great time!
This was a “burning bush” moment!!! They both look great, and at 70 Ringo hits as hard on those toms as he ever did…and Paul!!,he’s 68 I believe, and his voice is as clear and HIGH as when he was on ED SULLIVAN..I’m so grateful I was there growing up with every move the Beatles made, seeing it all unfold before my ears and eyes….Thank you,Lord!!!!
How awesome that must have been! I’m still crying! Wish I could have been there.
Aw, I want Paul to sing to me on MY 70th birthday! Wish I were there. Have seen Paul 4 times in concert, and he is an amazing performer!
Absolutely Fab-gear!!! Paul and Ringo
look great and played great too! totally
amazing performance and what a great
surprise for fans!
OMG, I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE WHAT I SAW LAST NIGHT!! MY LIFELONG DREAM COME TRUE, MINUS 2 OF COURSE, BUT STILL TOTALLY MINDBLOWING! IT WAS LIKE BEING AT SHEA! THE CROWD COULDN’T SCREAM LOUD ENOUGH. THANK YOU PAUL AND RINGO FOR GIVING ME A NIGHT I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET.
What an ultimate moment. Everybody loves Ringo : )
Last night was a dream come true, to see Paul and Ringo together again on stage. I saw the Beatles in Forest Hills Tennis Stadium in 1964 and it was like reliving the moment. Radio City broke out in Beatlemania and my daughter experienced what it was like back in the day. Happy Birthday Ringo all though we’re the ones who got the gift.
That is so awesome to see. I am so glad that the two of them were on the same stage together. For Paul to sing Happy Birthday to Ringo is such a special thing indeed. Wish I could have been there to see it first hand……
How fortunate for those of you that were there… unbelievable. Though I’ve seen both Paul and Ringo twice, this clip is as precious as those memories are of them in concert. I can’t stop the tears! Peace & Love to you both, and Happy B’day Ringo!!
Chuck Paul you took the words right out of my mouth !! I have “been” with them from pretty much the beginning, 46 years.I have watched this video 4 times all ready today and the tears flow each time. And thankyou to the person who took this video and shared it with all of us. God Bless !! And Peace and Love !!
Did you see Ringo run out and jump up on the drums? Beatles don’t age. Awesome!
Happy Birthday, Ringo, catch up with you later this summer!
(and nice cameo, Macca…see you next week!).
Saw Paul in Atlanta last summer, going to see Ringo 7/17 here in St Augustine. I kind of had a feeling Paul would pop up somewhere along the line and what a perfect moment to do so. Congrats to those who got to experience this live and thanks for posting the video for the rest of us! Still crying – watched it 3x already!!!! Happy Birthday RINGO!!! Paul rocks! Peace and love forever.

Simply as in 1964 magical. We are very lucky to have them and the memories with us. LA LA HOW THE LIFE GOES ON.
Happy Birthday Ringo! You don’t look a day over 50. Having Paul sing you “Birthday” is the best present anybody can ask for! C’mon you two, COME TOGETHER RIGHT NOW! before it’s too late.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RINGO! What a historical event. I wish I could of been there along with everyone else that wasn’t. History in the making. Ringo looks so good for the big 70. I hope they are both aroung for along time. Birthday is one of my favorite Beatle songs and what I could hear,it sounded great. It sounded like Beatlemania all over again.
At noon I was at the Hard Rock with Ringo and family/friends! It was great!
At 3:30 I was waiting by the stage door of Radio City and who pops out, Paul! He signed for a few of us and got into his SUV and rolled down the window and told us NOT to tell anyone he was there because Ringo DID NOT know he was going to preform. And from the looks of it Ringo looked surprised. What a GREAT show!
Thank You for the memories!!!
I was there and it was spectacular. Ringo is the best and Paul is so wonderful that both together just pulls at you. I LOVE them sooooo much. I saw the George Harrison Tribute Concert in London and that was amazing but known. Paul’s surprise for Ringo was just thrilling. GOD BLESS THE BEATLES.
Two Words – “It’s Paul”
Absolutely FAB-tastic. What a great Birthday surprise for all time. This might end up being seen by even more than who watched Ed Sullivan so many years ago! Such love is still easily seen. Beatle Brothers forever.
I was there with my sister and I kept telling her that Paul was coming and he was going to sing “Birthday” to Ringo. I was so right! It was amazing. We are women in our 50′s and we were screaming and jumping up and down like teenagers. My throat is still sore! It was my 8th time seeing Paul. But this was the first time I saw two Beatles together. AMAZING!!! Happy Birthday Ringo!
What a thrill!!! I wish I could have been there to experience the moment!! I’ve cried and cried watching this video!! Happy Birthday Ringo and much love to Paul for making this a truly special event!!
Wow..wow wow wow wow wow wow! I don’t know what else to say..WOW!
I am SOO glad that Paul and Ringo are SO CLOSE.. Brothers..
You had your favorite from among John, Paul, George and Ringo. Concert Bass Drums
WE LOVE YOU RINGO!! Happy birthday. Wow, 70 yrs old! Looking good & still going strong. I hope it’s the best Bday eva!!
way friggin cool…
Fabulous, just fabulous. Makes me cry, sad and happy at the same time.
¡Simplemente BEATLES grandiosos! Es increÃble que esta edad aún nos sigan dando tanto a sus fans. Bien por ellos y que Dios los guarde muchÃsimo tiempo en esas condiciones de vitalidad y alegrÃa. MIL FELICIDADES A RINGO.
I was finally present for a legendary moment. My throat is still sore from yelling so loud. The show was great, just as a Ringo show… then all his buddies… then THE HOFNER… and then… Mr. McCartney. UN-FREAKIN-BELIEVABLE!!
I brought my 9 year old nephew – who has become quite the Beatlemaniac – to his first concert. Where does he go from here? He doesn’t even realize he just witnessed history. We did the Beatle tour before the show – the Dakota, Strawberry Fields and finished the day with a couple of Beatles.
Saw Ringo in concert in 2008 (he was AWESOME) but Paul’s upcoming show in Nashville is sold out. Ringo has always been my favorite, but seeing Paul would be great too and seeing them together must have been fab. “Happy Birthday Ringo!” I have always adored you and always will. Seeing you in person was a dream come true. Thanks for all the wondeful music. Peace and Love.
A million thanks to the person sharing this video with us. Luckily I got see all 4 Beatles in Chicago. From the nosebleed of course, but just to be in the same building. This was fantastic. Please, please come together and give us another album for old times sake. Happy Birthday Ringo and Paul (June 18)! And like a previous commentor stated, “Thanks for the gift”
Wow, just watching the video was awesome! Can’t wait til this sat to see Paul at AT&T Park in SF! It’ll be our 4th time and he puts on a phenomenal show. I can’t wait! and only 46 yrs since I’ve seen them at the Cowpalace in SF!
Happy Birthday Ringo! what a night!
Happy Birthday Ringo! You turned me into a drummer in ’64 & I’ve been playing ever since. I hope I’m still playing at 70. You guys are the greatest! God bless you!
Saw all four ,twice, when they did their shows in Washington, D.C. I had always hoped they’d all get back together one day. This reunion sure brought back a lot of memories! Both, class acts! Long live The Beatles! Yay, yay, yay!
FAB INDEED!!!!
The only thing better than this was seeing all four of them together on August 19, 1966 in Memphis, Tennessee. How cool this happened and how cool of Paul to do it.
Paul & I share the same birthday, several years apart, so on my birthday I usually get serenated with this song. Seeing it acutally performed by 2 of the originals, I was to young to see them in person, brought tears to my eyes for their missing brothers. God Bless you Paul & Ringo.
I was there and it was AWESOME !!!
I’m 29. I’ve been a Beatles fan since I was 4. “Chains” was the first song I remember haha… I had an old tape I played until it broke and my parents said I would listen to and sing “Chains” aaallll day and night !!! I have a tattoo of John’s famous self portrait sketch. You know the one !! Some call it the “Imagine” sketch. I don’t know why I am sharing all this hahaha… Oh well. I just wanted to spread the Beatles love !! FAB = Freakin’ Awesome Beatles
Happy Birthday, Mr. Starkey !!!
By the way, I LOVE “The Fest” site. I’m on here all the time. Great merchandise and great information !! THANK YOU for the up keep of the site !!!
Watching that video made me realize two things:
1.70 is as old as you let it be, and
2.Real friendship is forever.
It was a privilege to watch this.
I could not have asked for anything more! My parents were able to attend as my mother survived brain surgery! She had not much hair, but let me tell you, Ringo and Paul, and a Yoko appearance made for an incredible event, with or without hair! My ten year old son, can now proudly say-he has seen the ‘gods’ in concert!! We were thrilled-Paul and Ringo hugging was just magical and the crowd was amazing too! Coincidentally, my son is attending camp at Long Island Drum School and will be playing ‘Birthday’ for his solo with the band for Ringo! We had no idea that we would see Ringo and Paul play it live first! OMG! What a night!! Great night for Beatle Magic!!
So close, yet so far away!!!(just hrs away from NYC). I cry happy tears as I read this. What an awesome Day it must have been for Ringo!!!! Peace & Love ALWAYS , Ringo, your best fan ever, floppy P.S. drove to Bethel, so all was not lost for me this tour!!!!
They were, and will always be, the Best!! Alas, I am but on UTube but it was still wonderful!!
Happy Birthday Ringo! This is the coolest…so glad Paul did this for Ringo and all of us to experience. I am also so glad to see that the both have stayed in shape and are still rocking!
Oh…My…God!!! Awesome…just Awesome!!! I wish I was there!!
i would like you to dance..happy birthday richard
I think that is absolutely awesome that Paul surprised Ringo like that, and it is great that they are still friends. what a special group of fine people the Beatles are!!!!
I was lucky to have grown up with the Beatles music…went to their concert in ’65 in Chicago…after that no other music comes even close to my wonderful Beatles’…HAPPY BIRTHDAY,RINGO!!!!!!
What an incredible moment!
Oh, to have been there!!! OMG!!!!
I agree Raejean………….I’ve loved these guys for 46 years. I’ve seen them in person. And still at 60 years old I still tear up when I see these guys. I would love to see 1964 all over again! So sad that all 4 couldn’t be together last night. Happy Birthday Ringo!
I was like an 8 year old again last night, screaming at the top of my lungs for Paul and Ringo. I had a feeling when I saw Paul’s tour schedule break but it wasn’t until I saw those amps roll in – how incredible to witness such an event. Thank you Paul and thank you Ringo for an incredible night that I will never ever forget for the rest of my life. I am still on cloud 9!!!!!!!
Happy birthday Ringo Your the greatest!! I will be seeing you 7/13/10 in Clearwater Fl. I am also the FIRST Digi Digi Digi Photo winner from 2006 ….I have seen Ringo 8 times ..Paul & John once and George Twice I also won a pair of signed drum sticks …from Ringo ….I am a lucky man “PEACE & LOVE TO ALL. p.s. wish I was at this show….p.p.s Paul/ Ringo call me lets do lunch.
When I saw Paul and Ringo together I really missed John and George. Strawberry Fields(and the Beatles)forever.
God Bless the Beatles and all the fans who keep this Sweet, Magical Mystery Tour eternally grooving, spreading Peace and Love at every contact. We love the Beatles….”BECAUSE”…..
Talk about making memories!!!!!
wonderful to see the 2 remaining beatles on this occasion, and it kept paul from making more thoughtless political comments for a day……he and ringo did what beatles do best…make music….peace and love happy birthday ringo…thanks for a new memory paul and ringo.
OMG, how wonderful!!! How lucky are those in attendance?! I’m going to see Paul in Charlotte in a little less than 3 weeks and this was just what I needed!! I’ve seen the Beatles once in Memphis in 1966 and Paul 5 times already. I keep thinking – how much longer can he do this? I am taking my 24-year-old son with me to Charlotte. He has heard Beatle music since he was in the womb. I told him I will try not to embarrass him at the concert!! I’ve got to dry my tears now so I can watch it again!! Happy Birthday, Ringo!!
That is so awesome! Wish I could have been there…. I love Paul and Ringo..Going to see Ringo next week!! Cant wait..
God Bless The Beatles
Beautiful memories.
I was there, at the back of the orchestra. After what we thought was the encore, the lights went down. I first saw the recognizable shadow of Paul flying across to the center of the stage. The lights came on, revealing Paul in his black suit and his sneaky-surprise smile, and the music of “Birthday” started. The crowd screamed madly, like it was 1964, and it felt like the roof was lifting off of Radio City – it was that high of a moment. How amazing to see two Beatles together! As we exited, total strangers were greeting each other outside with excitement. I woke up this morning, still wondering if this had really happened, or if was just another of the many “Beatles” dreams I have had since I was young. It was true Beatle history!
Yeah, every hour on the hour, including 4:20…
‘ Peace and L0VE ‘
Transcendental cosmic love and peace to all, everybody too.
from a ‘Working Class Hero’
That is soo cool. That was real sweet of Paul to give Ringo a kiss and to show up for his 70th birthday. I hope Ringo does the same thing when Paul turns 70 in 2012. I wish I was there. But I’ve seen Paul 3 times already. I saw Ringo back in Aug 2001. I was born too late to see the Beatles perform live but now, I’m in my late 20s and I LOVE the Beatles. My whole bedroom is Beatles.
Wow!!!! That was a fantastic moment to see. Beatle history right before your very eyes. Both of them looking as fit as ever and full of energy! Love you both! It choked me up completely..so many memories! Happy Birthday Ringo and MANY MANY MORE!!!!!
To Matt Klein,
I’m only 28 and I’m a Beatlesmaniac.
Thanks for sharing this moment. Happy birthday Ringo – 70??? Unbelievable! I can’t wait to see Sir Paul @ ATT Park in San Francisco on Saturday night!!!!!
Until I was ten years old, all I listened to was Elvis and other stuff that my sisters were listening to. Then, my mom and dad bought me “Meet the Beatles” for my birthday and it was all over. I never went back.
Here we are all these years later, and they are still making an impact. I dare say that I can’t think of another act that will have that longevity. They had talent, a vision, and the will to make it happen. They were amazing and they still are.
The Beatles are ageless.
I know that I am not the only one crying, but I wonder if I am the only one who thinks that Paul’s suit and tie are very reminiscent of the ones they wore on the Sullivan show.
Can’t believe Ringo is 70 – he looks “mahvelous”!!! Saw them also (twice) in Chicago – absolutely the best rock band ever!!!
Happy Birthday Ringo……saw the Beatles at the Baltimore Civic Center…..
i was there and completely numb , when paul and ringo play together , two legends…..what a show
This was an unforgettable moment in a lifetime shaped and molded by unforgettable Beatle moments – Ed Sullivan, Shea Stadium, etc. The Beatles were the soundtrack of my youth. Seeing Ringo and Paul still going strong keeps me young! HAPPY BIRTHDAY RINGO!
PEACE AND LOVE, PEACE AND LOVE, PEACE AND LOVE
OMG!!!!! I would have loved to have been there for this, they both look wonderful and to see them together like this is amazing. I will never be able to see my favorite band of all time the way I would like and this is the closest I have come so far. What an amazing birthday present for Ringo and for us! Happy Birthday Ringo and belated Happy Birthday to Paul!
Seeing Paul come out and surprise Ringo for his big 70 just grabs you like jumping into a freezing cold river in the summertime–WOW!!! Instant tears of pure joy! It’s so emotional seeing them together, so much happiness yet bittersweet. It’s like my whole life came flooding back, with The Beatles at the forefront…Ed Sullivan, those first albums, Beatlemania, A Hard Days Night movie, the heavier albums, deeper meanings, Vietnam, and peace-n-love comes full circle. Thank God I’m living in these times, so lucky to be a Beatles fan, and so great to see this video clip of Paul & Ringo who obviously still have great affection for each other!
“Yeah Yeah Yeah!”
Timing is everything & I thank God above for putting me & my brother at Radio City Music Hall July 7th. to witness & experience the wonderful magic only Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr can generate when they not only appear together, but sing & play together live & in person.
An unbelievable rush that flows through your veins & will simmer for the rest of your life !
Wow! This is amazing! It must have been great to be there to witness Paul and Ringo performing together again. Happy Birthday Ringo!
Watching Paul and Ringo on stage together – that was great! But after the song, seeing Ringo come down from the drums and he and Paul embrace, was something I never thought I would ever see again. What a reunion (minus the 2, although I know John and Goerge were there in spirit) but still AWESOME! Thanks, Paul and a blessed birthday, Ringo!
WOW!!!! How lucky for those who were there!! Tears are streaming down my face…….
If you have not seen Paul or Ringo yet, what are you waiting for?? A life altering experience!!
I LOVE THE BEATLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Ringo,
Could you please surprise Paul in Philly on the 14th????
I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!
Happy Birthday Ringo!! What a great surprise from Paul. Loved this!
This is beautiful.
this is beautiful!
I was so fortunate to be “kid” in the 60′s and to grow up with The Beatles and their music!! Nothing will ever come close to being what they were and still are: The Greastest Band of all Time!!
Happy Birthday, Mr. Starkey and may you have many, many more and may Paul be at your side for all of them!!
…the first thing to make me weep tears of joy in 10 years !

Great! Great! Great! Can’t get any better than that. Happy Birthday Ringo. Love you Paul♥
going to see Paul tomorrow @ AT+T park in SF, hope I don’t cry, I’m a grown man now—-HA! I had my first orgasm when I saw them on Ed Sullivan. That’s the only way I can describe it. The most unforgetable moment of my life and they were for me too the soundtrack of my life. I miss John and George terrible and I cherish these 2 remaining fabs.I love them. Peace and love to you Ringo and thanx for all the memories, Happy B’Day
Wow. Was this fanatastic. I couldn’t have said it better than Chuck Paul (8). I was 11 when I saw the Beatles in Milwaukee and I thank God they were such a huge part of my life and still are. Wouldn’t it be great to actually meet Paul or Ringo before I croak, just to say ‘thank you,’ but I know it’s just a dream. So, yeah, what a gift they’ve been. We were so lucky to be alive in the 60s. Kids today have absolute squat to actually leave such a mark on their lives. I wish Ringo and Paul all the happiness they’ve brought to so many for so long. Happy birthday, Ringo!
Man, I wish I could have been there….I would have thought I had died and gone to Heaven! What could top that???? I’ve never seen Paul McCartney in concert….it is on my bucket list, tho! I’ve been infatuated with the Cute Beatle since I saw him and the rest of the Fab Four sing on Ed Sullivan when I was 8 years old….sigh!
We were supposed to see Ringo at Westbury NY and the guy we bought the tickets from screwed us, I came in from Myrtle Beach only for a big dissapointment but the video from Radio City Music Hall with Paul and Ringo together again was unbelievable. Thanks guys for doing it one more time, truely the greatest rock and roll band ever…………
I was lucky enough to see Ringo on his 52nd birthday in concert in London, but this concert was so special.
Happy birthday Ringo, and loads more, thanks for all the wonderful music. I think that is the best live version of Birthday I have seen Paul perform, he just gets better and better.
Love to John and George too, both missed terribly.
Peace and Love everyone, from all at the british Beatles fan club
Mates–
It just hit me as I gently weep.
More than talent, charm, fame and even music
this is a story of FRIENDSHIP
What a momment. I wish Paul and Ringo would tour together. How cool would that be. Happy Birthday Ringo
Thank you for the video, like most of us here, I am crying. They bring such emotion to all of us. Yoko, like her, don’t like her, but her being there made John being there, and for that I am truly grateful. It also shows that they are all wonderful humans celebrating a wonderful person’s milestone.
Bought our tickets for Ringo’s concert very early spring. Was a huge surprise to realize that we would be sharing his 70th birthday with him!!!My 9 year old kept asking…”Is this going to be the real Ringo?” And each time I assured him that is was going to be..Little did we know that we would experience history in the making. What followed the 1st intermission was an explosion of voices and hands that was the loudest that I have EVER heard in a concert setting!!Paul had stormed the stage! We now became part of something bigger than we could ever imagined. At the end of this summer, I will have seen Paul 9 times; my 9 year old..5 times. I watched him sing and dance right along side of his elders. Keeping up with the biggest fans, I was so proud. To Ringo, keep up the good work-your concert was fab!Happiest of Birthdays to you!! And to Paul, we will see you VERY soon…..
Happy Birthday Ringo “Richard Starkey” I have enjoyed you and the best group you were apart of for oh sooo many years (the Beatles). I hope you had a fantastic birthday.
A fan forever!!!!!
Mary from Chicago area
This is super great, remember its 137 years of Rock and Roll, and still the best. Beatles forever!
I was lucky enough to be in the 5th row at Suffolk Downs, Boston on Aug. 18, 1966 and have been a fan for 46 1/2 years now. Seen Ringo a few times and Paul four times-it always amazes me how much energy they both still have for us, their fans! Love you both and Happy Birthday guys-many more. Thanks to whoever filmed this special moment on 07/07.
Mark thanks for sharing this with us, how about this clip on the big screen of the Rosemont Ballroom for the “Fest” in 4 weeks, would love to see it again…..Awesome and 4 minutes of Beatles magic!
Happy Birthday Ringo. So cool to see something like that.May you have many many more
wow,I have been a Beatles fan since 1964. Have seen all 4 seperate but never 2 together. I was out of State on July 7th but did see Ringo in Long Island. Wonderful show the only thing missing was of course Paul. We will always love the Beatles. I was real lucky got to meet Paul and Ringo in NYC. Wish i could have been there but I have seen the video at least 10 times. Who knows maybe now they will do it again since they had so much fun.
This was a definitely a show to see. What songs did they play that night? Does anyone have a playlist?
That was out of control happy birthday Ringo

I saw Ringo in concert just about a week before his birthday at Mohegan Sun. I wish I could’ve seen Paul in concert!! Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY RINGO!!!
Ha, I made an entire Ludwig drum set birthday cake for Ringo every year for several during the height of Beatlemania. I’ve got photographs to prove it. I was just a 13-year old maniac like the rest of us.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RINGO, AGAIN!
I LOVE YA PAUL AND RINGO!
I so wish i was there!! I want to see a concert with both Ringo and Paul in it!! I LOVE THE BEATLES! Its like 40 years later and they are still the best band in the world!!!!!!!!
To see them it would be a dream come true for me.Happy late birthday ringo!! i would do any thing to see you guys!
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS WHY PAUL IS MY FAVE BEATLE!!!!!! I wish they never broke up…..it makes me cry just to think about it…HAPPY BIRTHDAY RINGO
I love you Ringo I can not fine the words to express my feeling about you and the Beatles what you all gave me. Peace Love Peace Love.
GOD Bless
They expect me to believe Ringo did not know Paul was going to be there? LOL
My wife and I went to Ringo just like we have done for the past ten years or so when he plays radio city. When the finale came on and every musician in New York was on stage (including Sid Bernstein I believe) and Yoko was there I thought this was a special moment ….then the cake and Ringo humming to himself as he left….then the cake is pulled away and I said to my wife…something else is happening.
Then, all at once the crowd knew. And the roof blew off. I was stunned…(and judging by his actions so was Ringo). I realized later that I was screaming for 3 minutes…just like my wife and the rest of the crowd ….and we are not teenagers. It was fifty/sixty year olds that blew the roof off of Radio City.
As we walked out (or rather floated) I said that I cant remember the last time I screamed so much to which a guy behind me said ” no one has since 1966″. Amen.
Thanks you Paul and Ringo for giving me the shock of my life…and very glad to have witnessed this reunion. It is some sort of emotional highlight that I cant organize in my head…it is still overwhelming…a month later. I guess that is the power of music.

I took the video, thats me at the end. It really did rock the house when Paul came on stage, it was hard holding the camara steady.
Today is Dec. 24th, 2010 and I am going shortly to be with my family for Christmas, but had to open this e-mail from Mark’s Fest for Beatle fans and it was such a pleasure to read these comments! I grew up with the Beatles and they were a huge part of my life. Seeing this video again was so heartwarming as well as reading all the various comments about those who were LUCKY enough to experience that Beatle Birthday reunion night!!!! How I wish I could have been there!!!!!!!
I could hardly stop crying. What an incredible feeling it must be to know that you have made such an impact in history and on peoples lives as the Beatles have. Paul is my favorite but I LOVE them both, and of course John & George and they are missed dearly. I am very grateful that the good Lord let me experience the magic of growing up with the Beatles and I keep them in my prayers always, for many things. Thanks Mark, for your site and the Fest as well. Merry Christmas and Happy 2011 with all God’s blessings for Paul, Ringo and all big Beatles fan in the New Year!!!!
Mary,
Thanks for your kind words. The magic of the Beatles will always be with us.
Peace and Love,
I was there too and I will never forget it. I don’t think I ever was so excited in my life (okay, not recently). Great experience!
You did a super job holding the camera steady. Happy New Year!
I??ï¿¥ve under no circumstances discovered so substantially from any other web-site. Enjoyed reading this at present.
