On Saturday, Jan 30th , after a long illness, my Mother, Sally Lapidos passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 88. For all of you long time NY METRO attendees,my Mother use to come to all the shows helping out at our booth. She was always very enthusiastic and my biggest supporter. We will all miss her very much.

It is very strange how things work out. The oddity of this Beatles connection to my parents is astounding to me.
My Father was born on October 9th – John’s Birthday – the FIRST Beatle
He passed away on November 9th (1997), the FIRST time Brian saw The Beatles at the Cavern Club (1961)
Mom was born on on October 1st – the release of Abbey Road - the LAST Beatles recorded album (1969)
Mom passed on the day of The Beatles LAST public performance (1969).
