It may have been hot outside, but it was hotter in the Grand Ballroom of the Mirage as Donovan, Pattie Boyd, Billy J. Kramer, Mark and Brett Hudson and all the other guests lit up the stage. One of the many special moments occurred at the end of Pattie’s on stage conversation with Martin Lewis. Donovan wandered on the stage to say hello. They are dear old friends and it was great to see their unscheduled dual appearance. Pattie’s Exhibit was amazing. Her room consisted of her photographs, some of the Fashion she actually wore in the 1960s as a Vogue Cover Model. Plus she played a 12 minute video of things she was part of, all those years ago. Very moving. She is setting up the same Exhibit at our Chicago FEST in Two weeks as well. Donovan’s concerts - Acoustic on Monday and Electric on Tuesday were breathtaking. Liverpool back him and all the other musical guests, in addition to performing chunks from The White Album, on its 40th Anniversary. On a sad note, During the convention, we received news of the passing of Carol’s Father, Irwin Blum. For all of you regular attendees, he was the man (until a few years ago), who was always at the Ticket Booth, in all our shows, selling tickets and welcoming you. He was 91 years old and will be sorely missed.
Speaking of the 40th Anniv, GLEN BURTNIK and Friends (including Drew and John, also from Liverpool, Marshall Crenshaw and a stage full of performers) are playing the entire White Album, note for note at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, New Jersey on Friday night, July 25th at 8:00PM. I am the MC for the show. If you live in the area, come on down. Click Here for the link. It should be a great evening. Can’t wait to see how they do Revolution 9!!!

Had a great time at The Fest in Vegas. The guests were great, the concerts were awesome! The only bad thing was that there were not a lot of dealers in the marketplace. Please keep coming back to Vegas or Los Angeles.
